Another Dead & Company show, another attractive poster. Some of the tour’s posters can be purchased at D & C’s new online merch shop.

A plea: this word “merch” needs to go away. It sounds like something from a Dr. Seuss first draft, or an involuntary bodily process. (“Dude, I gotta merch.”) One of the victims from Paris sold t-shirts for the band, and all the reports listed him as the “merch guy” as though selling t-shirts was something not to be proud of.

Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger sell t-shirts. Stop with “merch.”
