This Lego diorama (Legorama?) celebrates the lost Dead show at which Johnny Helmet sat in.
I absolutely love this!
I think Lego is missing out on some of our money.
I fully agree.
That’s obviously Matthew Kelly, and you can see Darth Mickey getting ready to pelt him with a stick
What is this? I see a speaker column, but I also see Doctor Octopus.
Not too sure myself,. I googled Lego concert crowd. My Google search history is odd to say the least.
4/6/89 Ann Arbor………?
Dr. Octopus is actually a blurry group of a few dozen twirlers moving at top speed. Otherwise, the show was a sword-fest.
This place/blog/comment section/cavern of madness is hilarious!
I was at the lost Johnny Helmet Show. Help Slip Franklins opener, a great Peggy-O, Comes a Time out of Space, and the rare Hey Pocky Way encore. Brent had been dead for years, not that it mattered to Lego Brent, who dyed his hair orange for the occasion.
LEGO Wall of Sound?
that would be awesome.
Lego actually has a forum where you vote on people’s ideas for sets. 10000 votes and it goes in production, wall of sound Lego no doubt has been dreamt about by many. The best part of this Lego diorama, well the meta text actually I suppose is the inclusion of the Woodstock record and the Garcia in rock shrine in the background, you have to imagine the mind melting unreleased,Garcia solo that is unleashed when you push a button on the shrine. Anyway fantastic diorama and the recording studio! Masterpieces.
