Dead, Show

It might be another Bowie day here at Fillmore South, but I realize that some of you might not be fans of the Man Who Fell to Earth. For you, I recommend 10/30/73 from the Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis. Just go look at the setlist: they play everything. Here Comes Sunshine opener, Eyes, Dark Star with a Mind Left Body Jam, China>Rider, Stairway, Louie Louie, Waitin’ on the World to Change: everything you could want.

But if you don’t love Bowie, you should give him another try. Bowie transcended genre. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, dickheads – they all adored him. They thought he was a righteous dude.
