Paris In The Fall

by thoughtsonthedead

Today, I hope, will be a silly day. Bill Walton is on a tour of China and there are many pictures of him with tiny Chinese people and massive Buddhas and maybe we’ll learn about his visit.

No real world today, but Bobby said this in Ohio before the show last night, and I thought it was worth sharing:

“So we hear we’ve got some bad news from Paris. And, and really I think the, uh, the best thing we can do is, all of us in here, is, well, remember, uh, celebrate the, the lives of the sixty or so Parisian concertgoers who died today at the hands of religious extremists who, if they had their way, would outlaw music in all the world. We should celebrate their lives and the, and the joy that they found in music.”

That sounds like him. Vive le France.
